🛠️ Why I Hacked GoPro Plus Cloud?

If you’re a GoPro Plus user, you’ve probably felt the frustration of trying to download your media in bulk, only to be stopped by the 25-file limit. This arbitrary restriction makes it tedious 😤😡 to migrate your content to other platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, or your self-hosted NAS (e.g. Synology).

For non-developers or anyone who doesn’t want to fiddle with code, I made this tool Docker-friendly. Using the official Docker image, you can get started in no time:

  1. Pull the Docker Image:

    docker pull itsankoff/gopro

  2. Obtain your GoPro Plus Cloud credentials using the following guide

  3. Run the Container:

This tool interacts with the undocumented GoPro Plus API, emulating how the GoPro app communicates with the cloud. It bypasses the limitations of their web UI and allows you to:

  2. Retrieve Media Metadata: Get a list of all your files, regardless of batch size.
  3. Download Files in Bulk: Specify the number of files or download them all at once.
